During the day we hike in the nearby Dachstein mountains or go on an excursion in the surrounding area. In the evenings, we will take time for dialogue, meditation or sound journeys ….

Travel itinerary
- Bus transfer from Wasserbillig to Gosau
- Dinner and overnight stay at the COOEE Alpin Hotel Dachstein**** in Gosau
- To be able to respond to the needs of individual participants, we have not set a fixed daily program. Below is a selection of options for organizing the days together with your grief counsellor or on your own:
- Joint walk through the village of Gosau, getting to know your fellow travellers better
- Individual discussions with Anja Schütz, your grief counsellor
- Group discussions under Anja’s guidance (2x ½ day in the hotel seminar room)
- Opportunities to attend Christmas mass and various Christmas services (Catholic and Protestant)
- Winter hiking, tobogganing, snowshoeing and horse-drawn sleigh rides in the impressive nature of the Salzkammergut and the Dachstein region (depending on weather conditions, surcharges for equipment may apply)
- Bad Goisern: Farmers’ market and visit to the mustard factory
- Bad Ischl: Guided tour of the town, weekly market and horse-drawn sleigh ride (weather permitting), visit to the exhibition (theme of salt and water) in the brewhouse
- Hallstatt: Visit to the salt mine “Salzwelten”, on 26.12.2024 Krambamperl-burning
- Hallstatt on 24.12.2024: traditional tower blowing at 4.00 pm
- Evening tour of the salt mine / Altaussee salt worlds
- Opportunities for jogging and Nordic walking

Important information
Entry: For EU citizens with a valid identity card or passport. The document must in good condition and have at least one blank page. Currently all Covid-19-related restrictions have been lifted. We would like to point out that this may change depending on the pandemic situation (as of 06/2024).
All accommodation offers free WiFi, but network coverage is not always perfect. Please note that the hotels only offer non-smoking rooms. If any of the accommodation we accommodation booked by us are unexpectedly unavailable, we will book an alternative of an equivalent alternative (if possible).
You will receive further information about the trip and the destination with your travel documents.
No insurance is included in the tour price. We strongly recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance that also covers Covid-19 as well as appropriate travel health insurance that covers travel health insurance that includes Covid-19 treatment (including quarantine), must be taken out.
This trip is not suitable for guests with limited mobility. Please let us know the nature of your mobility restriction before booking and clarify with us whether we can fulfil your us whether we can fulfil your individual needs
