The Austrian capital develops a very special charm during Advent with its brightly lit Christmas markets, cozy coffee houses, and traditional restaurants. This trip shows you Vienna from different perspectives: from the tower of St. Stephen’s Cathedral, from the Prater Ferris wheel, and from Coblenz Hill. Explore the Habsburg catacombs under the cathedral, Vienna around 1900 in the museum, and Grandma’s kitchen in the Generations Café (a project for seniors). A joint, authentic tour with a city guide and a homeless woman allows experts from these different worldviews to have their say. The Hotel magdas***, Austria’s first ‘Social Business Hotel,’ is conveniently located near the old town and serves as the ideal starting point for your daily walks and excursions using public transport.

Authentic and sustainable
- Transfers airport-hotel-airport by CAT (Airport City Train)
- City walks and sightseeing by foot (daily walking distances 1-8 kilometers) and by public transport.
- Overnight stays in a social business hotel in an optimal location
- Joint walk by a city guide and a homeless woman (the homeless woman receives a donation after the walk). Homelessness should not be a taboo topic but should show what strengths lie in every expert on the street.
- Lunch break in the Generations Café (project to prevent seniors from being lonely)

Important information
Entry: For EU citizens with a valid ID card or passport. The document must be in good condition and have at least one blank page. All Covid-19-related restrictions have currently been lifted. We would like to point out that this can change depending on the pandemic situation (as of April 2024).
For air travel, our sales prices are generally based on special and tour operator tariffs of the airline(s) selected for the relevant trip. Therefore, space is limited and additional charges are possible.
All accommodations offer free WiFi, although network coverage is not always perfect. Please note that the hotels only offer non-smoking rooms. If some of the accommodations we have booked are unforeseen to be unavailable, we will book a (preferably) equivalent alternative.

No insurance is included in the travel price. We strongly recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance that includes Covid-19 as well as appropriate travel health insurance that includes treatment (including quarantine) for Covid-19.
This trip is not suitable for guests with mobility issues. If necessary, please tell us the type of mobility restriction you have before booking and clarify with us whether we can meet your individual needs.
