Hiking in Alsace
Short trip in SeptemberShort trip in September
Beautiful landscapes, medieval villages and good cuisine – Alsace is perfect for a weekend of hiking and enjoyment. Four moderately difficult hikes lead through green vineyards and picturesque wine-growing towns, to impressive castles and picturesque half-timbered houses. The starting point is Bergheim, a charming place with winding streets and a well-preserved fortification wall. From there you start your daily hikes on foot and by public transport. Your accommodation impresses with a lot of charm. In the family winery hotel you can enjoy traditional cuisine with local products. On two evenings, the included four-course menu is complemented by a wine pairing presented by the winemaker family.
